About Avi
Most People I Meet Aren’t Looking for More Information — They’re Looking for a Way Out of the Loop.
I’m Avi Itzkovitch — a spiritual teacher and author. The people I work with are often already self-aware. They’ve read things, tried things, searched. What they want isn’t another technique. It’s a simpler, quieter way of being.
Through a process I call Practical Awareness, we learn to discern between protective emotions and deeper feelings — between the mind’s stories and what quietly feels true. I call this the journey from mind to heart. Once that shift begins, even slightly, everything feels different.

My story
I’ve Spent My Life Learning to Simplify.
I have spent most of my life drawn to one question: why does something that should be simple — being human, being present, knowing what we feel — so often feel so hard? The more I looked, the more I began to see that the deepest wisdom is not complicated. It only becomes complicated when we try to reach it through the mind alone.
Everything I do — the books, the sessions, the writings — is an attempt to simplify. My approach is non-dualistic at its core, which means it doesn’t point you toward a distant destination. It points you here. To what you already are. To what you’re already carrying. I call this Practical Awareness — spirituality that works in real life, in real relationships, in the moments that actually matter.
The path
Awareness. Understanding. Love.
Awareness
Learning to see what is actually happening within us. To recognize the stories of the mind, the emotions, the sensations, and the deeper feelings that move beneath them.
Understanding
As awareness deepens, confusion begins to dissolve. We see what comes from conditioning, what comes from fear, and what comes from the truth of our own experience.
Love
Not love as an emotion or an ideal, but as our natural state. A way of being that emerges when we are no longer lost in the stories of the mind.
“It’s not that we find the way — it’s that we finally stop leaving it.”
